I left Los Angeles in December of 2019 with my former partner Kelly. I had just gotten rid of everything I owned — house, cars, bikes and boxes and boxes of everything that you collect over years of living a good life and raising a family.
That was before Covid.
Before the world lost its head.
In the next year and a half we traveled through Mexico, Central and South America, staying in São Paulo for 4 1/2 months during the beginning of the Covid crisis.
