Treatment at the ABClinic is individualized based on diagnosis, client/family need and desired treatment outcomes. Families are highly encouraged to be involved in the goal setting and treatment planning process. Treatment sessions range from 30-60 minutes. Each session will consist of any of the following: play based activities, language activities (books, narrative skills, vocabulary tasks, etc.), games to encourage high repetition of speech target sounds or repetition of a target skill, movement, songs, chewing/feeding skills with snack and more! Our hope is that therapy will target set goals using motivating activities that are fun, engaging and functional. Number of sessions will depend on the evaluation results, progress and client/family need. We will do our best to give each client and family a predicted number of sessions that are recommended based on this information. We will collaborate throughout the process and this can be adjusted at any time.
