When the existence of asbestos is confirmed during testing, then the asbestos containing material needs to be safely removed right away. As much as possible asbestos disposal should always be performed by an authorized asbestos disposal expert, as it's a very dangerous and sometimes complex procedure. It can result in lung diseases and/or cancer. If the fibers are exposed to the air for too long of a period, there is a possibility of developing asbestosis or mesothelioma.
