The story of Mes Chaussettes Rouges begins in 2009 when childhood friends Jacques Tiberghien and Vincent Metzger came up with the idea of reselling the iconic socks made by the Italian tailor Gammarelli. Until that point, one had to go to Rome to buy these socks, and only a handful of knowledgeable enthusiasts knew about them.
