Maryland Pecans

Growing up in Georgia, routinely my grandmother would send my brothers and I out back to pick pecans and burn off energy. As we collected ingredients for her latest kitchen creation, we also indulged in our share of savory pecans. Remembering the sun reaching me between the branches while quenching the desire to be mischievous with my brothers are memories over the years I have held onto dearly and treasure.
