Dr A S Soin is recognized all over the world over for his pioneering work in establishing liver transplantation in India. From 1998 when he did the country’s first successful transplant till date, he has established the country’s three of the major liver transplant and advanced liver surgery centers at Apollo Hospital (1998-2001), SGRH (2001-2010), and now since 2010, at Medanta-The Medicity, Gurgaon (Delhi NCR).
