Biophoretics began in 2005 as an R&D company in an air plane hangar located in Truckee, CA; in the Sierra Nevada mountains at 6,000’ elevation. Our focus; developing an automated 2D electrophoresis platform. Doing 2DE at elevation in a very dry climate created some interesting, practical challenges.
