Nippon Paint Young Designer Award (NPYDA) was launched in 2008 as part of Nippon Paint’s vision of nurturing the next generation of design talents. In 2016, the name was changed from Nippon Paint Young Designer Award (NPYDA) to Asia Young Designer Award (AYDA) to reflect the scale in terms of the Award’s reach and stature into 15 Asian countries.
