Yes I want your Thumbs up!
Apsense is a social networking site that works on points. I have read a lot lately about members not doing things that they know will give away points to other members.
This is silly! (and selfish)
“There’s no limit to what a man can do or where he can go if he doesn’t mind who gets the credit.†- Ronald Reagan’s favorite quote, displayed in the White House Oval Office
You are going to have to ask yourself – do you want the points or the business contacts.
I have made some valuable business contacts (and friends) since joining Apsense and I plan on building that circle even wider.
If you want to grow your business network here at Apsense you might want to consider doing the following routine.
>> Spend 5-10 minutes a day reading and giving thumbs up
to what others are writing.
>> Write 3 comments a day on things you have read that really
caught your attention.
>> Spend 6-7 minutes a day reviewing & writing testimonials
for member’s business centers.
>> Write at least 1 blog a week
>> Write at least 3 new posts to a group a week
>> Join groups when asked just to meet others
>> Invite your limit every day for new members to be on your contact list.
All this adds up to being actively involved. You will be amazed at whose attention you might catch and what business deals may come out of giving a little time each day to others.
All the Best
Valerie

I am still learning the ropes here. I like the idea of launching others forward. I live by " True success is putting others first" I will try to follow your suggestion each day or at least every day I can make the time. I am a mom of a 5 year old who keeps me hopping.

Some excellent suggestions here! I will definitely work on doing each one of those. Thank you! : D

I don't care about points
I just care about trust!
With that comes friends, trust, and then business....or better yet....friends....GREAT FRIENDS! And then with friends comes referrals....friends...referrals....
Word of mouth is the best form of advertsing ever invented. Thank you God!

Hi Valerie
Well your advice is as valid today as it was when you wrote it in August. Anyone who plays by the numbers game will probably one day fall by the numbers game.
To get the best out of ApSense (and any other biz community for that matter) i reckon that with a system, like you have, or without one there are very definately ways to do so. If you join and read things because they interest you, top anything that interests you, support your friends, give testimonials and ratings gen

Beautifully & well-spoken, Valerie! This is what I
call being a racehorse. Just keep running your
best. Thanks for enumerating systematically
how to network at ApSense. I've bookmarked
this post on my browser and am resolving to
improve.

Lol Jeunell did I rattle you cage, lol
I was just wondering about something, Apsense said that there are over 20K members here. I can't tell how many members are on line at any given time, but I'm sure that they can. I would also like to know what is the busiest time of the day called "busy hour" for Apsense?
I just have this intuition hanging around here for some time now that less then 200 members are active.
My blogs aren't being read. I'm sure that others feel the same way. To

Awwh....I agree Jeunelle, no harm at all in a suggestion! It's not a demand, just a polite suggestion.
I'm such a "sissy" I'll cry if someone puts me down here..lol. Nah..I"m a big girl...lol
It would make me feel upset though.

Well Jenuelle;
I was just wondering about the same-thing. How come you aren't reading and topping my blogs? or maybe I need to talk with Lector about that?

Thanks for the great tips, Valerie. I agree, being selfish is not cool. I personally don't think a selfish person is truly a happy person.
I'm involved in so many social networks, but lately I decided to focus mostly on Apsense. Your suggestions for things to do and how much time to spend on them, is very valuable advice! In doing so, I have really had a lot of fun on Apsense too!
Thanks Valerie! Here are some well deserved Thumbs Up and points for you!
