I bet you did because you are more than likely one of those people who love getting things for free. Did you know that giving away free stuff is also viral marketing? That's right it is a type of marketing that works well when trying to build a leads list for your business. But just like any other marketing you have to find your targeted market. You don't want to be giving free tampons to men do ya? Find your targeted market first and then give your FREE gift to that market. When giving away your free gift here is a simple strategy to get them to say yes. I was out and about the other day and stumbled across an interesting fact about approaching people with free gifts.Example:
If I asked "Would you like a FREE sample of this health juice" people will either ask a question or just say no. Asking this questions is giving them the option of saying yes or no.But...If I asked, "I would Like to offer you a FREE gift", I am not them an option to answer the question. After I offer them the free gift I ask them to fill out a 3x5 card with their name and address and 9 out of 10 I am getting their information.Conclusion:
Give out free gifts that are going to help another to build your leads list. But never ask with a yes or no question.  Never give the person a chance to answer the question because you will most likely receive more no's then yes'sBest RegardsLonnie
