It's so easy to open a free account on YouTube, I don't understand why anyone interested in promoting wouldn't have one. Even if you don't make videos YET, you need to see some to get the spirit and learn how.

Get a free account and set up a profile, then go look at videos and collect the best ones under your favorites. This alone can get you noticed, remember there are thousands roaming around there every day.

Then come by my profile by Clicking Here and say hi with a comment under one of mine.

I'd be interested in learning how to make videos for youtube. I have a video camarag on my cellphone that allows me to upload videos to my e-mail or to my cellphone company's site. So I suppose it wouldn't be too difficult to make a short clip and upload it to youtube, but for anything longer would I need to use my webcam or what?

You can even take short clips and join them together with Windows Movie Maker which comes free with Windows. Webcam clips would also work, just convert them into the proper format (I use WMV for YouTube) and load them up.

If you feel fluch some month, you can splurge $300 on a copy of Camtasia and get the ultimate. I love it.
