Jump to Googles beating drum / relationship with potential customers

We are bombarded on a constant basis just what it is that Google likes and what it dislikes. As far as links are concerned, find a related subject... try and get one way links... and the list simply goes on. As soon as we find out what the dance is, Google simply changes the drum beat and we have to start all over.

A question I have asked myself often is... does Google buy my products? We work our butts off to reach that elusive high ranking, some get it others don't.

It is of more importance to me to keep the people who have been to my site happy and interested in the site so that they come back. Those who join the forums and newsletter are giving me a chance to interact with them.

That said, as a person visiting my site, I have opened the door to all forum joiners to add their own recipes to the site... leave a oneliner advert afterwards with their links so that they to can create a personal "relationship" with visitors to the site. What this means is instead of waiting for Google to give you the great ranking, you have a piece of yourself on the forum and in a simple way, trust can be built.

Google becomes a secondary thought, you are now concentrating on people and in a twisted way, Google may just respond in a positive way.

All I can say is keep the content coming and use these social networks to your advantage, the rankings do improve with some help from the likes of greatly ranked sites/forums and apsense gets you noticed.

Bye for now buddy
