Thru several years of "yo-yo" dieting...all failing...I have run across a book recommended by a good friend. The title, "The Weight Loss Cure", by Kevin Trudeau.....and after one month with the recommendations in this book, I have lost 2 sizes in my pants; I feel better; and I am not straving or carving foods like I use to.

Hi,
Losing two sizes in your pants is no recommendation for any weight loss book.
To lose weight at such a rate is very dangerous, especially in that part of your anatomy.
What a lot of people don't realise is that losing weight very quickly puts a huge strain on your body. The only way to lose that much is to eat foods with no nutritional value or to exercise like your very life depended on it.
This sort of weight loss is not sustainable. Initially the euphoria of seeing instant results will blind you to the cravings you undoubtedly are having and convince you that you have found the answer.
Not true.
What you have found is a quick fix and - as the euphoria and novelty wear off - you will regain most of what you have lost - if not all.
Weight loss is not about what you eat.
Weight loss is about life style and the most efficient and effective method of weight loss is to burn off calories by activity. Change the way you do things and start doing the healthy things you don't do.
If the rate of weight loss you attained was consistent, it would not be very long before the lost weight would be coming from muscle mass - and the heart is a muscle!
I have taken part in many clinical trials of diets and slimming aids - I have not yet been in a trial of a product or book that worked in the medium to long term.
