First let me say that I don't have a Law Degree hanging on my wall, I'm not a Para-Legal and this is not an ad for Pre-Paid Legal, what I'm about to tell you is from personal experience in an Elder Financial Abuse case that I'm taking the lead on and have been dealing with for a year concerning my father and other family members. This world is full of people that have absolutely no moral compass and they will take the elderly for everything they've worked all their lives for. These people are not necessarily strangers off the streets, these people are more than likely close family members and trusted friends of the elderly. States are finally beginning to take elder financial abuse seriously because they're getting ripped off to the tune of billions a year by these animals.

I can't give out legal advice but I can point you in the right direction and tell you about what route to take and the pitfalls you will encounter along the way. All states have different Civil Litigation laws but the federal statutes are the same Nationwide. Why am I offering my assistance you ask? Because I wouldn't wish what I'm going through on my worst enemy, I won't go into the gory details here because you never know who's reading what online and I don't want to tip my hand on the steps and techniques I had to employ to get to the point I am today. This nightmare is almost over for my family and I but it was a year of pure unmitigated hell that placed a permanent wedge in between my family that will never be removed.
