I'm talking about the campaigns here at APSense.
A few weeks before Christmas, when I launched a campaign, say a 30-seat view site campaign, it was over within a few hours.
Nowadays, it takes days. Even then, most of the time, I stop a campaign to get attention to my more recent campaigns. I do that especially for the articles I write that don't promote things I do for myself. I mean, I love to write articles about APSense overlooked features and get attention to these features. But at the end of the day, I am also trying to build my own business.
Anyway, many of my friends write comments on my articles and don't claim the credits. I appreciate it, cause other people get the chance to see what I wrote. Of course, I do the same. Since I'm a Premium member, 5,000 credits combined with the credits from the daily missions is plenty for me.
If campaigns were more efficient, I would probably use a lot more of my monthly credits, though.
What I'm getting at is, I think the inefficient campaigns is the result of having many new members who joined in the past 3 months and launch campaigns to get attention to their programs or offers. I have absolutely nothing against competition. It keeps me on my toes.
However, I believe we need a new mechanism for getting campaigns to be seen by more people. It would force us to be more creative in writing our headlines and choosing the images that accompany it. The result would be every member would improve his/her marketing skills and would get a lot more attention on other sites.
Do you have suggestions for what the new campaign mechanism would be like ? Let's give Wincer the chance to amaze us even more with his creativity by giving him input. Look on the sites where you besides here, get inspired, think how it could be done here.
