I have been reading some material from Dale Calvert lately and one thing he said struck a chord with me. Like most people with an opportunity to promote, my first instinct is to see how far and wide I can spread the news. Dale made sense when he prompted me to start across the street before embarking on a mission to cover the globe. Once you have a certain level of success in your local market, it becomes that much easier to spread that to the rest of your target market.
When I noticed that my primary opportunity came out with some new 8 page reprint articles about the business, I ordered 100 copies to use in my local market and try applying the new knowledge I just learned. It certainly makes sense to me.
