Just to let you know that he is an Alien. He is not from this world or even this galaxy, and it's the way things are done on Krypton. I mean come on, who wears a cape and can fly without the use of a man-made object? And why would you wear a cape in the first place? What purpose does it serve?

maybe he is not super underneath.......so with packed up loin full of cloths, he looks SUPER..lol.

I guess it's the same reason why women wear skirts or shorts over there pantyhose. Duh!
