What the causes of poverty in the world?

Speaking as an American to American. Poverty is caused by a mindset of lack and want. The key to achieving anything is the correct mindset. Also poverty in the Christian and Jewish Bible is listed as a curse. Break the curse and you break the chains of poverty. Belief in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour will break the curse but unless you re-new your mind you will stay in poverty.

"Lack of money is the root of all evil", said George Bernard Shaw. Lack of money is also the cause of poverty. There - you have your answer.

I believe the primary cause of the continuation of poverty is the poverty "mindset". Greedy people don't cause the poverty of others, greedy people cause their own poverty.

I have simple answer for this question,
there are many people on the top of governance at every country that won't to know about how their people life.

I think one reason for which there is much poverty is how specific talents in individuals are not matched with respective tasks. Should the the inherent skills in every individual be matched with corresponding tasks or work, every person will earn his or her deserving income and every person will have something to live on. Riches will as well not be locked up with selected few

There are a lot of causes of being poverty in all over the world. Every man thinks for himself. There is unemployment everywhere. If we want good job, we need work hard. :)
