In the US, it is 65 for some and 68 for others, depending on age. A few take early retirement at 55 or 62, but some work as long as they are able.

Here in Nigeria, it can be 60 and up to 70 depending on where you are working.

My step father says retirement is retarded! He's over 80 and would rather be busy than retired. :-) I the official age if you work for a company may be 65, but in reality, most still wish to work so they feel useful, and hey why not? :-)
