ANY business is based on trust. If they don't trust you then you don't make any sales. Think about it.. would you buy a tv from someone you don't trust?
So establish a trust based relationship with people first. ONLY then will you be able to 'sell' your offer to them.

Warren's strategy is a sound one. One has to show the prospects that something is in it for them too, but before you can get referrals, you must advertise through various methods. In your advertising you must also take note if you have many persons promoting your product on the same site since prospects can get weary of seeing the same sites regularly, it is therefore best to join sites that are new, so in effect you may be promoting to new persons.
