It is really difficult to comment any answer against the question, because it varies from program to program!
Anyway, even though we can consider those site who really do business & offered with integrity, having a long run business plan, regular in paying affiliates commission & caring as well, like SFI & Triple Clicks!

To define "the best" anything these days is a tough job, as the competition in every field is growing day by day. The best online company can be defined on the basis of the quality of services provided by them and the time span in which the services are delivered. Every customer is looking for quick results, the company which can cater to all the services on time and with quality is the best.

What makes a good company to me is one that can stay in business without changing to many rules that end up screwing over the people that helped them start up. Fast to many MLM companies look like they are going to pay out well and once you start making a decent income change something which reduce your income and improve yours. So a honest company that stays on top of its game and rewards its affiliates is a good company in my book.
