I think online marketing is the best option because, as this age work from home is the best option. Another career for old age people is "Teaching."

Interesting question. I see many career opportunities including: health / exercise leader, child rearing advice, grandparenting advice, gardening, a writer chronicling how life was years ago.

With all the experiences in life one has had at the age of 81, I would think mentoring or consulting would be a great choice.

As long as you have your wits about you, you can and should pursue any career that holds your interest. With the mirage of home based businesses on line, why not consider one of the many out there>

Consultancy in Geriatrics, perhaps?

I believe a person of that age has many options available to them. They have many years of life experience. I would suggest them beginning their own business venture because that seems to be the pattern these days for our elders.

My father-in-law was doing cross-country skiing at that age, he stopped because the only functioning eye he had stopped working properly. It's not a matter of age but of health.
