Too many couples do not understand marriage is for life?

It can be for life if you mate is not a rapist, wife beater, child abuser and all other hidden things that come out after marriage.

I don't think anyone goes into a marriage and expecting it to end. You must communicate at all times, love, respect and never take your partner for granted. If you both had the fire when you meet, keep it going for as long as you live.

All marriages have to be worked at, as there are many ups and downs. Marriage is not a simple process which runs smoothly, and there can be many hiccups along the way. Discussion and openness is a must between partners, and remember, there is always two sides to every story. This is a very short paragraph in answer to a very complicated question, a question which my wife and I have spent 53 years in answering for ourselves.

I have seen many cases like this. 90% parents not allow them to continue.
