It's not good for all the time. While search engine will come to crawl your page it will come to know the matter. Getting so many links from particular one site is denoting as spam work. So there need to do perfect off page optimization also.

I think it's not about which social exchange websites you are using, but rather the quality of the topic, contents and types of fans on your fanpage that make a difference.
