It is simple. You must write a paragraph and determine keyword of that paragraph. then go to google and search the value, that is enough.

I guess that the question was how to determine top key words in general, which I also do not know how to do. Yes it is OK to use keyword tool but only if you have an idea what are your target phrases. The only way that I can think of, is to use trial and error method, so to brainstorm and shoot the words into the keyword tool :) We all have more or less good ideas what are the most commonly used keywords and what are they related to, but it would be nice to peak into google's top ten search term
