Yes you can do it. I have done it before.

you can sent message to all member of the group.

some time can get it but not easy

Joseph, go into the webinars group, you'll see the Event I created about it, all you have to do is join, you'll then see it on your homepage at all times until it happens

Same with an event you have created. Just click on invite people and chose the list or group of people you want.

Have you created a list with specific people? You can post your message to this list. To do so write your message and click on the wheel beside the post button. There you can change the list of people who will see this message.
