I have to be based from home, as I also home-school some of my kids. I just have to work everything else around their needs. For me, being a mother is a high priority.

I agree Annamaria. It is challenging to be a working mom and I would like know that how your child reacted when you decided to work from home? Are you comfortable and satisfied with the arrangement? It makes a lot of difference in the lifestyle(mom) too!

It is definitely not easy: it can be very challenging to make sure that the child/children get their needs met in every way. It's not advantageous for a mother to have a very demanding job. I believe the best is to have work with flexible work hours, to allow the mother to arrange her schedule in a way that will allow her to get her work done, and also be able to attend to her motherly tasks.

For me it's not that easy balancing work and family. I have to be competitive at work and at the same time be a good responsible wife and mother. It's tough but being able to work from home helped a lot. When I started working from home, I felt that I have more time to spend with my family and at the same time contributing to family's funds as well. facebook.com/fashiondesignforyou
