How much would you pay to have a 5 page website?

@Simon.... I love to play on my computer.. I can not think of anything else I would rather be doing than creating things.. be it on my computer, on paper, using fabric, turning old broken items into new things..... But then.. that is just me....!

@Cindy Bolley… That's very true, but don't forget about the time it takes to build your sites.

I would probably say $100 is a low-end website, I may be wrong, just depends on your abilities and what your time is worth.

As others have suggested it depends on the technology used.

Is it a responsive 'mobile-friendly' website? Google is now dropping website rankings in mobile search results if it isn't mobile friendly. With the amount of consumers using smartphones these days, this is surely a very important feature for any modern website.

Main reason for having asked the question is someone asked me to build them a website and freaked out when I said I may consider it for about $100.... so I thought I'd just test it here, but hey, knowing your skills, I may just take you up on the offer.... Reading this thread makes me wonder if those who answered are ready with money in hand, or are wishing for someone to pay them the suggested fee?

It's all about depends on the quality of website. It may be differ for different different company. But $100 will be enough.

I thank everyone for your response and it seems $100 (assuming you mean US Dollar) is about the expectation level, which is what I also thought. The interesting thing is that I posted the question the day I saw someone offering (one of their talents, as we call it here) to build me a website for $5. I don't think the person who offered that service answered the question....

Surely "it depends" is the best answer. $100 on the low end - $500 on the high end although I'm sure someone could show me enough added services that I MIGHT consider more.

So here is a Non-Greeky answer...From someone who knows nothing about Geeky Stuff... I have several sites.. Most of them have been created on Wordpress.... I am able to make pages.. as many as I want... or post in Blog format.... I am also able to create Sub-domains.. and have even more pages, blogs or sites.... I own my own domains and I host them myself.... so the cost is the price of my hosting package.... because I have created everything myself.

For a professionally designed basic website I would expect to pay a minimum of $350. However, it all really depends on what exactly is required.

No more than $100 if I needed someone to do it for me, although it depends on what is actually required.
Since I create 90% of all the content I require, rarely would I ever pay for anything.
