Networking is so under rated. I do agree w8th Megan. Word of mouth is a forgotten advertising avenue, it seems the cost of internet hype is causing a great deal of misery to honest hard working entrenuers.

Networking should not be considered as a task to measure for your business!!! We are primarily a social being and so are always impacted by our social network.
What we deal with is a small section of the human network based on the time and energy you are ready to spend. However, getting lost in a ocean of contacts which you cannot maintain is bad. Categorize your network into various circles and find time for each circle based on its importance. Be open to all contacts even if they are your foes
