How long do you keep laptop?

More than 5 years I think

About 10 years...and i do not want to buy a new one..

I use a desktop computer, as well as two laptops when I'm at home! Older is 7 years old, two batteries and has 5 hours of autonomy in the field (MSI 10 inch)

I had laptop for about 3 years but still working well! :)

Thehardware and IT are changing faster than you Can Change Your divices.
Ten Years ago, the rate of changing was somewhere 6 or 8 month
Now is less than 3 month, sometime is a daily, weekly changing.

So, you should consider :

1. What you do and what are your online needs?
- sufing, browsing, communication, games, entertaiment,,,

2. The Security and the health of your divice!

3. How much money Can you afford to buy a Laptop.

I have new one, but still use my old one from time to time.The old one is 6years , but is much slower than new one.

I have MacBook Pro and they are good for 5 years ;--)

Five years max, otherwise i find it hard to keep going with the one i have.

i brought a second hand laptop and so far still working after 4 years ! i just keep it updated and format every so often .. to keep it of un-wanted files and viruses

No issue with the laptop perhaps you have to update its configuration time to time and according to your needs.

if you keep your laptop or pc healthy you better installing linux and i't for even better your health and heart

I still use one laptop that is over 10 years old. We keep it on a counter in the kitchen just to look up recipes and check the weather and such. It gets a little cranky at times and we need to reboot it a lot, but that's better than filling up the landfill.

same here,i had laptop for about 4 years but still working well and no problem at all.
