How do you do business without a website?

I do 90% of my business online and I love it. I also go to the local farmers Market and set up a booth to help educate people on the products li market. I give out free samples, brochures, health newspapers, business cards, etc. etc. this does helps to get my name out there and give the customers a chance to sample my products and give them the lecture they need on it.

Sondra, what is funny to me is that people who make very good money online all have one thing mostly in common...they have multiple websites. If the website becomes popular it can be sold. Apsense, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc...have rules that must be followed and no matter how big one think they are when or if they get tired of you...Bam!

You can do business without a website but it makes it more difficult to brand yourself online which is important. Even if people don't know your name it's helpful if they know your domain URL. Also with your own site you can add different services and as Mike mentioned sell ads on your site as well.

I'm an affiliate but built a website to provide more information for visitors that's not available on the replicated site plus added a blog to drive more traffic and obtain more backlinks.

Guys you are all right and I agree that if a business wants to make it in this day and time having some sort of advertisement and website will increase ones changes of the company or business being noted. I market products and I make sure that I have my information, ads, and magnets on my car visible for all to know what I'm doing and how I can be contacted. I put out ads in social media networks and my JoinPlexus can be found anywhere..

Brint, I agree if you know what you are doing then you can do well without but why give others all your efforts. Why write thousands of articles making someone else money that you can have. Sometimes it's the instant oatmeal way of doing things in my mind...you can build a list with your own site...you can set the rules on your own site and no matter how long it takes if you build a following of a million people you basically have a set income. Having a website is not the only way to do business. It can be the part of business promotions but not the business itself. Also agree with Marko.

Marko, you are right. I just want those who don't know yet to see the full picture. You are one of the few that can make it with your experience in affiliates alone to meet your goals consistently.

Well, it's not neccessary that you're affiliate with a shop which have 100.000 products....there are other affiliate opportunities and options...I just answered a question - Is it possible to do business without a website - yes, it is possible.
How succesful? that's the another question for discussion :)

Marko, I will have to agree with you but with a website if the affiliate company goes under starts doing things shady then I have already built a list. My website if I choose will grow and I can sell ad space. I can list one hundred other was to be even more independent just from having your own website. Apsense.com, Goggle.com, Facebook.com, Clickbank.com, Twitter.com is the level and beyond where I'm shooting for.

It is. You can be an affiliate of a company and advertise the products/services in social networks....so you don't need a website....

Doing a business without a website is like having a store with no sign. You need to advertise so that people know types of products or services you render.
