Do you check the person's profile before sending or accepting a contact request?

I seldom check profiles but I do accept ALL the contact requests.

No, I don't. I always accept connection request. If you don't have more content then you can promote or do anything with your profile, no one know your or see your profile. If must focus on building profile and connection.

Hi Joe, like your yardsticks in connecting with people, teaches me a few things like their existence elsewhere on net to crosscheck and the money-extracting girls with usual story of inheritance credentials(?) largely from African countries who still manage to creep into our Apsense but luckily Admin throws them as fast. Love it when I discover a worthwhile topic, even if it's 18+ months old.... and btw, this one will never go cold anyway. Do I check the profile? Not too often...... buuuut.... I do a google search of the picture to see if I can find you anywhere on the net, whether it's facebook, google+, another network or a perhaps a website or blog... these are the folks I like to connect with. If I don't find you, there's a good chance the picture is also fake and I don't accept.

For the most part, yes. Though I want to have as many connections as possible it is still necessary to check as I do not want to invite scammers. I want to network, recieve and give ideas.

Depends, sometimes I just wiz through it. If I am making a recommendation then I go through it very well.

I invite many and accept almost all. Sometimes I look at the profile but not always. I also invite people who just joined and are still in the process of setting up a profile. Adding people as contacts allows me to see what they are doing in the live feed. I mostly check out a profile when some one has posted something that interest me.

I definitely accept everyone, and I view most peoples pages if they view mine. If they post anything that makes me question them, I report it. If there profile looks like a scammer or spammer I report it and I will continue to report everything scam-like that they do. No more scams on apsense! :)

Yes, definitely I will check the person's profile before accepting or sending request. Due to this I have annoyed few...I guess I will be the first person in Apsense who will get a 'negative recommendation'...no wonder!
Yes,blocking is one of the option but that plays role once you start chatting ...prevention is better than cure'!

While accepting a contact request, I simply accept it as my nature is to respect every one & then have a glance at his profile to know background, the activities he is in etc. so that if there are subjects of mutual interests,communication can take place.
While sending contact requests, I send requests to those who are on line. In this case also most of the times I simply send the request. In both the cases, if one finds someone troublesome there is always option to block.We are here to make mo

Everyone should be responsible to present themselves and behave each other in a proper manner as they do offline - if every one follows the Human Basic rules and etiquetes, then there is no need to check each others.
