Are you duplicating your content! Will it harm SEO eforts?

Duplicate content are largely ignored by the search engines but if you only copy part of the content and link back to the main content then it will carry some weight in the search engines.

It doesn't harm anything as far as I am concerned. All of my articles are stuff you won't find anywhere else, they imply to be specialized in my field. When I am duplicating a blogger article on wordpress, I often attract new readers ( for instance, even posting the duplicate article on the same FB group allows different people to read the same content at different hours of the day or following day)...you are saying it "harms your website" and you are unable to explain why? We post unique content on Apsense and those content never post any where. Yes, duplicate content harm your website traffic and ranking as well.
