RA Power Solutions Pvt. Ltd. have recently undertaken repair and overhaul of Wartsila 12V32 engine installed on one of the vessel owned by a Greek company.
Overhauling of parts and engine:-
Recommended Features
- All the cylinder heads were fully reconditioned and inspected.
- Piston and piston rings were calibrated.
- Due to wear and tear of liners, exceeding the last limits specified in the manual, all the liners were replaced with new ones.
- Crankpin bearings crossed the specified hours of operation and were replaced.
- Inspection and cleaning of all the pumps and sub-assemblies was undertaken.
Review on ship main engine overhaul
After Wartsila diesel engine repair and overhaul, the engine was put on trial and operation. The diesel engine Crankpin grinding, repair and overhaul job was completed in a record time of eighteen days which was appreciated by the client.We have been undertaking ship auxiliary engine overhaul and Main engine repair services for the last forty years.
