Review on How to respond on social media? Most of us are aware that the people we interact with online are not just empty screens across the universe - they are living, breathing, sentient beings. Why then, is it sometimes difficult to know what is a comment or an appropriate message on our social media pages? What does it mean to the person who makes personal attacks, or how to thank someone who shares or comments on our posts? These questions (and more) can be difficult.
While there may be some favorite viewing methods and friendly guidelines, there is not really a set of precise and agreed rules. Instead, you often end up following your own intuition. The following are tips on how to make social media the best experience for you, your family, your friends and the aliens who have found your doTERRA business pages.
No matter what you post on any social channel, you can not please everyone, but you can still be nice. No matter what haters say, you can rise above and continue to smile. Answer as politely and respectfully as possible, and perhaps they will understand the hint.
We recommend that you separate your specific doTERRA messages into a corporate page rather than a personal page. In this way, you can keep your personal page mostly about your children or the concert you attended, and always have a professional page for all your homemade product tips. That being said, you do not always need to completely separate the two, if lavender really helped you get a good night's sleep, say something on your personal page.
Keep your personal messages confidential. If a conversation needs to be more personal, send a private message or even send an SMS if you have their number. If you have no way to contact them outside of their comment, leave a comment inviting them to send you a private message.
Have quality content, and not just ask for likes or retweets. In simple terms, if your content is of high quality, you will not need to ask.
Be responsive. Your audience wants (and appreciates) hearing from you when they ask questions or make comments. Even if all you say is "thank you for sharing my message", you are generating positive connections.
In no time you will be able to navigate in any situation online. For those who are still intimidated by the very idea of social media: Take these guidelines and try them. You never know, you may find a new way of sharing that you never thought of before.
