Renee Lamury - Newport News, VA Neither myself, nor my husband, has ever installed a bedlift kit. We purchased an RV last summer and saw the need to install a means to lift the heavy bed in order to gain access to the storage compartment below. We typically base our purchasing decisions on the product reviews, and I have to admit, there were several which were negative. However, my husband liked the positive reviews that were offered, so we decided to give it a shot. End result is that we are EXTREMELY pleased with the results! If one is mindful to follow the instructions thoroughly and correctly (ie. follow the exact measurements in order to place the hatch lifts in the precise spot.), there will be no issues. ................................. Jonathan Worked great on my partial opening queen bed. No adjustment necessary. Now we can use that area much easier. ................................... Natalie from Delaware This rv bedlift would be a dream if it would stay down when not needed. We installed it according to the directions; made adjustments as stated; and messaged the company trying to resolve our issue. They just referred us back to adjusting in the directions. We are keeping it because it only takes a finger to get the bed to lift but will have to put some kind of latch on to keep it from rising during travel. Hopefully it will stay down when we toss around at night. Granted, we are not pros so we might be missing something about installation, but it would have been nice to get a resolution with the company. Again, goes up like a dream.
