GS400 Description:

GS400 can read the generic and manufacturer specific DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) stored in your vehicle's EMS (Engine Management System). The EMS reports a fault by illuminating the ECL (Engine Check Light) on the dashboard. This is usually as a result of an electronic sensor failure. In a few seconds, identify the problem directly from the unit display. Once the fault has been repaired the DTC's can then be erased from the EMS using the device. This will in turn reset the ECL.
