Review on DDA land Pooling Policy Delhi

Since the launch of the Land Pooling Portal in February, landowners have so far registered 6407 hectares of land in five zones. DDA Vice Chairman Tarun Kapoor said that the Revenue Department of Delhi Government has been asked to verify the ownership of these lands. After this the development work will start. For this it is also necessary that at least 70% of the land parcels in each zone are linked together.

In an event organized on Friday on 'Land Pooling: Building India's Capital' Opportunity in Real Estate and Infrastructure at FICCI Bhawan on Barakhamba Road, Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri said that Delhi will become a major center of the world by 2027 Will go. FAR rates may not change in existing residential areas, but the FAR rates may change in the sectors that will be built under the Land Pooling Scheme. Delhi's landowners are excited by the DDA's land pooling policy. When the plan was explained to them, they have come forward to support.

Under this scheme, smart green field city will be built on about 19 thousand hectare land of five zones and the private sector will play a big role in this project. PM Modi wants the people of Delhi to get world-class facilities, this project is being prepared keeping this in mind. In which about five lakh economically poor people will also get houses. The special thing is that all the projects in one sector will be connected to each other.

Delhi's LG Anil Baijal said that the single window clearance facility has been introduced to facilitate speedy disposal of land pooling cases. Landlords who wish to join the scheme can apply. Since it is included in the world's big and smart project, good returns can be expected. NR Arvind, Director of Land Pooling DDA and Nilesh Rajadhyaksha, Project Coordinator of NIUA, said that the Smart City to be built in the Land Pooling Scheme will have pedestrian friendly roads.
