Review on a review of traffic exchanges

Traffic Exchanges. Online marketers either love them OR hate them.

Why do they love them, well because used the right way, they provide on demand traffic, optins and conversions which lead to income

Used the wrong way, then you can end up surfing for hours, see no results, get fed up and say they don't work

Surfung is just part of using a traffic exchange. You need to look for the advertiisng benefits you are offered as part of your membership

Surfing ratios & timers are also important considerations when using one.You ideally want a 1:1 ratio and a 6 second timer

3:1 ratios are to be avoided, because for every 3 pages surfed, you get 1 visitor back, unless of course the benefits in the exchange are worth your while upgrading

You should also surf no more than about 45 minutes in them

To be successful using them, you need a good colourful splash or squeeze page, one that when the page loads you can fully see and which invites you to optin

Traffic exchanges are excellent for bloggers. Put your blog on a Traffic exchange and it will rise through the google rankings, without any need for SEO.

They also offer a wide variety of different types of exchange, for example some provide automatic traffic, others provide set and forget advertising, they let you target your niche, some even pay you to use them

They have been around longer than social media

In short if you are not using them, you are missing out on some great traffic
