Joshua was born August 13, 1993 weighing 1 pound 12 ounces at 24 weeks gestation. He suffered a grade 3 ventricular brain hemmorhage at birth, which affected his speech and motor skills; after 3 months in Neonatal Intensive Care he was released from the hospital. At the age of 2 he was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and at the age of 18 Joshua passed on from complications of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Two months after Joshua passed, his father Ray met Dr. Wallach, who knew how to prevent and cure White Muscle Disease, Stiff Lamb's Disease and Mulberry Heart Disease in the veterinary industry since the 1950's. These three diseases are known as Muscular Dystrophy or Keshan Disease in humans, a known Selenium deficiency.
