Vilitra 10 mg is
an oral drug that is used to treat impotence or erectile dysfunction, where a
man cannot attain or maintain an erection. An erection is achieved when there
is an engorgement of blood in the penis. Upon sexual stimulation, nitric oxide
is produced and released which then activates the enzyme called guanylate
cyclase to produce cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). cGMP is responsible
for the relaxation of blood vessels, allowing blood flow to the penis, leading
to an erection.
