As I told you, the only way to download music from Spotify on a PC or smartphone is by activating a Spotify Premium Apk. Among the various features that the subscription to the streaming service offers, in fact, you will also find the possibility to listen to music offline, by downloading your favorite playlists to the device memory.
But what are the Spotify plans? Currently, Swedish audio streaming offers users three different pricing plans:
Spotify Premium. This is the "basic" subscription, which gives you unlimited access to tens of millions of tracks, with the ability to skip tracks without limits and download music with Spotify for free. The Spotify Premium subscription costs 9.99 euros per month ;
Spotify Premium for families. It offers the same features as the previous subscription, but for € 14.99 per month, it allows you to create up to 6 people belonging to the same household;
Spotify Premium for students. In case you are enrolled in a partner university, you will have a 50% discount on the price of Spotify Premium. Each month (up to a maximum of 3 years) you will pay only € 4.99.
How to make a Spotify subscription
To switch to Spotify Premium, you will need to connect to the streaming service's website, precisely at this address, log in with your credentials (or create a profile, if you don't have one), and enter your account. In the left column, look for the entry Subscription: click on it and, in the new screen that appears, click on Switch to Premium. Now, you will need to enter your payment details and click on the Start my Spotify Premium button.
Alternatively, you can make a subscription to Spotify by launching the desktop client for Windows or Mac and clicking on the Upgrade button, which is present in the upper part of the window, to the left of the name you have chosen for your profile. After clicking, a new window will open in the browser you use to navigate: click on the Switch to Premium button and follow the wizard.
