The aim and objective of SOS Children’s Villages of India is to provide long term family based care to orphaned children and to strengthen disadvantaged families as a preventive measure against abandonment and social neglect of children.
The Family Based Care concept is based on four principles
The Mother - Each child has a caring parent.
Brothers and Sisters - Family ties grow naturally.
The House - Each family creates its own home.
