180 Medical was initiated by Todd Brown, a paraplegic who was paralyzed in a tragic motorcross accident. Dealing with his condition, Brown experienced frequent urinary tract infections. After a friend suggested he use closed system catheters to treat his UTIs, Brown greatly reduced the occurrence of UTIs. He started the company in 2002 to help others going through similar situations as he experienced. Today, 180 Medical is one of the leading suppliers of urological products ranging from ostomy products to pediatric, male, and female catheters. The organization is was named by OKC Biz as One of the Best Places To Work in Oklahoma.
