The Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance & Counselling is designed to advise and guide young people in determining their future professional paths. It also aids in the development of the knowledge and skills needed to counsel pupils, particularly those in their adolescence.

The programme is especially beneficial to school instructors, counsellors, NGO workers, and parents, among others, because it helps people see their innate potential, interests, ability, and abilities. In today's society, a variety of issues exist, and these issues have filtered down to children.

The discipline of counselling psychology, which is not only an important branch of psychology but also deals with the application of psychological concepts and therapeutic approaches in combination, is the answer to such problems.

Objectives of the Programme

The programme aims to achieve the following objectives:

This is an eccentric programme. To assist students, particularly those in the adolescent stage, a well-planned guidance-oriented programme led by trained guidance personnel could be extremely beneficial in their education by allowing them to explore and develop their abilities, interests, and overall personality while also allowing them to make decisions and adjustments as needed.
