Yoga Kundalini Upanishad
Yoga Kundalini Upanishad is one of the twenty yoga upanishads and forms part of Sama Veda. It is the ninetieth upanishad of 108 upanishads of Muktika Upanishad order as enumerated by Lord Sri Rama to Lord Sri Hanuman.
It contains 109 verses in three chapters.
The first chapter deals with Kundalini Awakening that involves the practices of Asana, Pranayama, and Bandhas. It gives a complete account of the procedures to be followed for Kundalini awakening.
The second chapter deals in Khechari Vidya that consists of Khechari Mantra and Khechari Mudra. Khechari Mudra is the practice of turning the tongue back and insert it upwards beyond Uvula keeping the eye sight fixed with the eye-brow centre.
The third chapter talks about the Jivan-Mukti and Videha Mukti, the two types of liberation that can be achieved by the yogic practices.
It is a great resource of yoga philosophy and practice for any yoga lover. You can read the English translation of the Upanishad at Classic Yoga Studies.
