I believe at this stage among the one thing they can do about bots and gold sellers would be to OSRS gold ban the gold buyers. These buyers are the sole reason they exist and unlike bot farms they invest time in their personality and won't want to take any greater danger.

The main reason is that Jagex does not allocate almost enough funds into botbusting and anti-cheating. It is absurd to even hope for a small number of individuals, like 4 or 3, to capture any substantial amount of rulebreaking.Archeage did to gold buyers. Gold would be removed and any items bought with the gold will be too.

Regrettably they did these things because they wanted to possess the gold buyers go through the in game money shop.

That I think the biggest turn off for new players would be that the scamming and phishing that is so rampant in this particular community, It is horrifying and sad. I am a veteran player and I think that it's Cheap Rs gold unacceptable that jagex allows this crap to keep going.

And of course that the number of friends who have been cleaned for billons in the stadium and after that try to scam me or other with loans in an effort to make it back. This game has to be badly cleaned up before a steam release differently rip new player sticking around for long after becoming lured for their lender.
