Working successfully while travelling the world

ManagerTraveling is the only escape from our monotonous lives and work is the only privilege which allows us to do so. “Traveling the world” always sound alluring but maintaining a perfect balance between travel and work is a different story. After all, how many a times we struggle with planning our vacations so they don’t interfere with work. Worry not! We are gonna figure out a perfect plan next!
1) Chose travel related work
All the travel destinations earn revenue somehow.. Right? How about being a proud
partner in their plans to execute the dreams of your life instead?
Life will never be that awesome again! Search for a job at a tourist destination like work at a resort, teach any language, online freelancing, travel blogging, masseuse, guide, photography.. whatever suits your interest areas and lets you travel along.
2) Work remotely or opt for location independent work
Imagine yourself working from the snow cladded mountain heights...
Or at the sun-bed along the beach side...
Or at the setting sun in the background of the cold evening desert..
Don’t get too dreamy! But yeah, this all can happen for real...
There are numerous jobs which allows you to work remotely or from distant locations. Pack your laptop, set yourselves up on a travel spree, work for some odd
hours and enjoy the surreal scenic locations.
3) Work on contractual basis
Surely, this is another deal of a great option. So, get yourselves enrolled in a project
on contract basis (duration lasts from anything between 3 months to some years).
And when the project gets completed, spend your hard-earned cash wisely on your
travels.
The advantage is that you won’t be bothered if any work is pending in the office or
you can be called off anytime. Search for a new project as soon as you are done
with first phase of your travels. And similarly, Work-travel- repeat!
4) Plan your vacations in the start of year
Continuing with the normal routine even, you can have a great year of planned
travels. Scan the list of vacations thoroughly and mark the months/weekends where
you can easily spare some time to set yourself out on a vacation. Make sure you have made all the necessary reservations as everyone out there is planning for the same. Protect yourself from getting served with “Sold out/Not
Available” tags. However, with lots of free cancellation options available now, if any issues come up, you can easily cancel your tickets later on.

5) Utilise the long weekends
Going smoothly over the new year’s vacation plan, mark all the long weekends and
aim to celebrate all the vibrant festivals in foreign lands. After all, every place offers a unique fervour for different festivals. Get drenched in the local culture and enjoy your vacations to the maximum. Don’t forget to apply for leaves at the earliest. Otherwise, you might end up working in the office while other’s will be living your vacation dreams instead.
