Desi cow milk

A food that has been causing controversy for years and that nutritionists themselves point out as one of the most divided opinions generated from cow's milk.

Should it be part of the diet of human beings? How healthy is it for you? Let's find out!

Milk and its derivatives have always been a part of our life since the beginning, but due to this adulteration era, we can never trust any source completely for their products to be safe, healthy and pure. And although many point out that the alternatives to cow milk like soy milk or almond milk is a healthier option, it's also the fact that the healthiest of all the milk is Desi Cow Milk.

First, how healthy is it?

According to the National Health Service of the United Kingdom (NHS), cow's milk and its derivatives such as cheese, yogurt and butter provide, within a balanced diet, a large amount of nutrients, calcium and protein

Desi Cow Milk increases the level of glutathione.

Glutathione is one of the most important antioxidants in the human body, which is very important for me, but I think it is important for the health of many people, but they do not know about it yet.

Now in Russia, there is a company that breeds dairy cows, but for this, it checks their genotype, that is, determines which milk, with which casein they will produce. In this company, only cows are milk producers, in which milk contains casein 2, to which there is no sensitivity in humans. It is clear that the costs of such a company are greater, at least for the selection of cows and analyzes for the presence of casein 1 and casein 2 in their milk.

In ordinary milk, there are proteins A1 and A2. And many more, but it is A1 protein that is increasingly called the true cause of milk intolerance. Scientific studies and clinical trials show that when digested, A1 can increase the risks of diseases and cause discomfort. A2 milk does not contain A1 protein, therefore, it becomes a salvation for people with milk intolerance.

What causes Lactose Intolerance?

An allergy to dairy products is usually associated with lactose intolerance. Most often, it manifests itself in various disorders of the gastrointestinal tract. But if we pay attention to the effects of BCM-7 when it enters the intestines, it becomes possible to hypothesize that inflammatory process and malfunctions of the gastrointestinal tract maybe associated with the consumption of milk casein A1 and the appearance of BCM-7 in the intestinal cavity.

It is worth noting that desi cow milk is not a genetic engineering product. This is a completely natural product, obtained only from specially selected cows. The first step in the production of desi cow milk is the genotyping of cows for the presence of A1 and A2 beta-casein alleles and the selection of those that produce only A2 casein.

What is the advantage of milk A2?

Researchers believe that type A2 is a more natural form of beta-casein for the human body and type A1 arose as a result of a natural genetic mutation that occurred during the domestication of cattle. Based on this information, a number of studies have been conducted to find out if digestibility and response to true desi cow milk and ordinary milk in humans are different.

Some of these studies showed that people who consumed exclusively milk from cows with genotype A2 had less digestive problems and bloating, which led some to believe that desi cow milk was a healthier choice than regular milk. Scientific studies of the difference between milk with A1 and A2 genes are ongoing, but it should be mentioned that primary studies have shown that digestive enzymes interact differently with beta-caseins A1 and A2, so in milk A1 and A2 protein is split differently by the body.

Does Desi Cow milk give only cows of dairy breeds with a color suit?

Traditionally, dairy breeds with a color suit, such as Jersey and Hersey, were considered “exemplary” carriers of the A2 gene. In these two breeds, the proportion of carriers of the A2A2 gene combination is higher, but due to several of the most popular Holstein bulls, the predominance of A2A2 bulls in the black-motley breed has also grown in recent years.

This may surprise you, but about 40% of the current selling Holstein bulls, including the most popular, also carry two A2 genes. In addition, more than 80% of Holstein bulls carry at least one copy of the A2 gene. Here is where Desi cow milk comes to the rescue!

Is Desi Cow milk is a solution for people with lactose intolerance?

Desi Cow milk contains the same amount of lactose as regular milk, therefore, in the case of clinically confirmed lactose intolerance, cow milk does not have the benefits of milk without lactose.

But taking into account that most of the diagnoses of lactose intolerance are made independently, some doctors believe that the cause of indigestion in such cases is more likely intolerance to milk of type A1, rather than lactose. Thus, consuming Desi cow milk can potentially help prevent the side effects of consuming regular milk.

Researchers believe that initially all cows gave A2 milk, but because of the mutation of dairy cows, a new type of beta casein, A1, appeared. The mutation has spread throughout the world but in a number of countries, cows still produce mainly A2 milk, for example, in India, up to 95%.

Cow's milk is one of the most popular products in the consumer basket. About 87% of it consists of water, 13% is lactose, fat, protein, minerals. The main component of protein in milk is casein as mentioned earlier. 30% of casein is beta-casein (about 12 g per liter). There are two types of beta-casein in ordinary milk: A1 and A2. A1 can cause various diseases in some people, including allergies. A number of major research institutes are currently studying these consequences.
