English Spoken, Why Should We Learn Reading, Writing, Grammar, Vocabulary Building From The Success.
Why Should We Learn To Speak English Like A Native From The Success.
Learning to speak English like a native speaker in English spoken countries is pretty straight forward. You might hire a Harvard professor who is a native English speaker or a 16-year old native high school student to give you private lessons, but there is a problem with this.
For the most important part, both of them are native English speakers and they learn English naturally since they were a child, but for you, the situation is very different. You've already built-up a foreign accent. You need to get rid of your accent before can speak English like a native. And for this reason, neither the Harvard professor nor the high school student knows how, although they're native speakers.
Learning to speak English like a native speaker in countries that are not English spoken countries seemed almost impossible for most of people. And for some, that might be you, it IS absolutely possible. The reason I say that is only after I met a girl name Xiao Ting.
I met her in New York City about 15 years ago when she just married my cousin. She was born and raised in China and had never went abroad. I heard all those before I met but I hadn't h talked to her. I finally met her in my cousin's house and talked to her, and to my surprise, she spoke to me in English, and my mind almost got exploded because she spoke English JUST LIKE A NATIVE!
If Xiao Ting was able to learn to speak English like a native speaker in a non English spoken country, why can't you? You only need to know how.
To get rid of your foreign accent and speak English like a native speaker, a decent approach is to find someone like you who spoke English with a foreign accent before but is speaking English like a native now. That's right! Find your role model and do the exact same things to make you speak English like a native even in a country that is not an English spoken country.
One of the most influential motivational speaker, Tony Robbins, puts it this way:
“Instead of using the trial-and-error method, find your role model and do the exact same things.”
This works the same for English speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary building, and grammar. If you want to be proficient in English speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary building, and grammar, find someone who who had been not so good in these areas and is very good now and do the same things.
In other words, learn from the people who have been successful, get their advice and do the same things to produce your own results.
No matter who shows the way, the most important work is for you to do it.
When I needed to build a build a responsive website, I looked for web building companies. All of the companies I contacted charged hundreds of dollars for a simple one-page website. I'd never build a responsive website before although I'd built a lot of websites. So tried to do it for three full day and came up with nothing workable.
Then, I modeled the success. I searched for and found a video on Youtube. I watched the video once and then went back to the beginning and played it again. This time, I followed the exact same steps in the video and did what was being done. I paused the video many times to get my pages done as I followed along. In 20 minutes, I got my responsive website built.
Now here's the funny thing. One of the web building companies I contacted earlietr emailed me again by offering a lower price to build the website for me. I responded back by saying this:
“No thanks. I got it done myself in 20 minutes.”
No matter the country you're in a country is an English spoken country, you can still learn to speak English like a native. It is possible to model the success to speak English like a native speaker in a non (English speaking) English spoken country.
